Our Mission

Strengthening the Human–Animal Bond Across the PNW Through Rescue & Community Support

PNW BARCS is dedicated to strengthening the human–animal bond by keeping pets and their people together during difficult times. We partner with community members—especially seniors and veterans—to reduce pet overpopulation, prevent overcrowded shelters, and ensure animals remain safe, healthy, and at home where they belong. Through low‑cost sterilizations, community vaccine clinics, compassionate end‑of‑life care, food assistance, and accessible education and resources, we work to prevent pet abandonment and support families across the Pacific Northwest. By building strong rescue partnerships and providing practical, community‑focused care, we create a longer‑lasting, more viable community impact that brings animal rescue and community support together across the PNW.
